Vince Hoppe
Senior Pastor
Vince grew up in Alamogordo, New Mexico, as the son of an immigrant mother and a military father. He became a Christian while studying at New Mexico State University. He and his wife, Holly, worked in campus ministry for ten years before moving to Colorado Springs. They both attended Covenant Theological Seminary, where Vince graduated with his MDiv in 2016. Their love for the Western U.S. drew Vince, Holly, and their 4 children to Colorado Springs to plant a new church and see people continue to be reached with the life-changing message of Jesus. Vince enjoys cycling, fly-fishing, playing with his kids, and hanging out with his wife. He can often be found with his nose in a book at a coffee shop or having conversations with strangers at random places.

Steve Kammer
Director of Spiritual Formation
Steve is a Colorado Springs native, married to his wife, Kendra, and together they have three boys. They served with Cru for 15 years, both in Spain and locally at UCCS and Colorado College. Later, Steve worked as the College and Training Director at Village Seven Presbyterian Church while attending seminary and training future church leaders. Now at Third Millennium Ministries, Steve directs the Thirdmill Institute, which provides seminary-level education to under-resourced pastors worldwide. Through his work with G+P and Thirdmill, Steve shares his passion for the gospel, helping to grow God’s Kingdom around the globe. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and the art of building the perfect campfire.
Kendra Kammer
Director of Women’s Ministry
Kendra Kammer has spent the last 25 years serving in college ministry and women's ministry, walking with women through seasons of growth. She now serves as the g+p Women's Ministry Director, where she helps women find authentic community, grow in their faith, and boldly use their gifts to serve in God's kingdom. When she's not serving in ministry, she and her husband Steve are learning the latest Gen Z slang from their three sons. She’s a big fan of good books, tasty food, exploring new places, and Marco Poloing with friends around the globe. She also believes that every great day includes a dog and a generous dose of grace.
Kate Pace
Children’s Director
Kate is a Colorado Springs native who was raised to love learning, good food, and most importantly, Jesus. She and her husband, Ethan, are blessed to call Grace + Peace their church home and are excited to raise their two children with this special community of believers. With a degree in English and Elementary Education from UCCS, Kate has spent several years teaching while also volunteering in children's and youth ministries. One of her greatest joys is to help children develop a lifelong love for learning about who God is and who they are as covenant children. She loves that oftentimes these learning opportunities include copious amounts of glue and laughter.
Shelby Marshall
Church Administrator
Shelby serves as the Church Administrator at Grace + Peace. Originally from Colorado Springs, she spent 15 years in Nashville, TN, where she met her husband, Chris. After getting married, they dreamed of living out West and, in 2023, made the move back to the Springs, welcoming their son, Ezra, soon after. With nearly a decade of ministry experience, Shelby has a background in missions and youth ministry and has a deep passion for supporting the life of the church behind the scenes. She loves cooking and baking, diving into a good story (whether in a book, play, show, or movie), and spending time with her husband and son. Shelby is deeply grateful to be part of the Grace + Peace community.
Zac Smith
Tech Director
Zac serves as the Tech Director at Grace + Peace. A longtime part of the g+p community, he’s grateful for the opportunity to support worship and connection through his role. Zac also owns and operates a small fine art printing and fulfillment company, helping artists navigate the complexities of production and logistics. He and his wife, Lauren (who you may have seen on the worship team), enjoy long walks, silly movies, and good music. Zac first came to Colorado Springs to attend UCCS and has called it home ever since. He’s thankful to be part of the staff and excited to serve.
